Rome is preparing for an exciting second half of 2026, with a packed calendar of summer and autumn events set to bring music, sport and culture to the heart of the Italian capital. From open-air festivals to major religious celebrations and international sporting occasions, the city will continue to attract visitors throughout the remainder of the year.

Summer in Rome will once again centre around Estate Romana, running from June to September 2026. Visitors can expect outdoor cinema screenings, live music performances, riverside events along the Tiber and evening entertainment across piazzas, parks and historic venues throughout the capital.

As December approaches, Rome will transform for the festive season with the return of the Rome Christmas Celebrations throughout December 2026. Seasonal markets, Christmas lights and celebrations around St Peter’s Square will once again draw visitors from around the world to the Eternal City.
